My very first blog post

Yay! I am beyond exited to start my own blog. For a long time it has been a little dream of mine to get the opportunity to express myself on a platform were I am able to connect with different people from all over the world – possibly people with the same passions and interests as me.

My name is Tasia and I am 20 years young. I am born and raised in Denmark, and do still live here. I love makeup and fashion, as do many other people in this world – but these are far from centered in my life. My life is centered around a bunch of lovely people, that I always enjoy spending time with, laugh with and experience the craziest things with. That is what life is all about – being happy. Happiness on a daily basis for me is laughing and listening to music. I love music and would describe my taste as sporadic – I simply love what I love, not matter the genre.

I do love reading blogs. I love submerging in the words of other amazing bloggers. This is why i decided to do it myself. I will be posting blogs of things i am loving the most, real life experiences, dreams and life goals. As much of a girly girl I am, I do love sports! Handball and football are my favs, and you will also be able to indulge in blog posts about this very topic.

I really hope you will follow along my journey!

Love from Tasia

Hard times

This is a hard post to make – but a post that simply needs to be written and shared. I am currently going through something that is quite hard to get my head around. I have taken some time off to try and deal with the fact that it is actually happening to someone who is sooo close to me.

My family member have been diagnosed with cancer and it happens to be in the high-risk group – meaning it is pretty bad. We are still filled with hope and my family member is in good hands. We do still pray every day that everything works out because we all know and hear about the awful things that happens to people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

This is not a post about wanting compassion from my readers it is about putting focus on something that we all experience – it could happen to someone close to us, someone far out or ourselves. The worst part is feeling helpless because you truly want to help the person going through it but we really can’t do anything about it – except be there for support.

Remember to tell the people you love that you care about them and show them. Never take anything for granted and love unconditionally! Spend time with the ones you love and laugh – joy and happiness are the keys to a good life!

A little while ago…

It’s been a little while ago since I last updated my blog. The reason being I’ve started Uni. I am now studying Biochemistry – which isn’t my prefered education (medicine). I was so nervous to not get in, but I got in to something that hopefully helps me get in to my dream education!

Let me tell you! It is stressfull starting – getting to know a lot of people and getting a lot of information. You feel so alone because you do not know a single person. But everything is fine and we are getting there.

SUMMER 2017

I am back! I have just had the best two weeks on vacation – so nice to just wind down, relax and think about things I normally would not be thinking about on an everyday basis.

So Saturday the 8th I travelled to Hungary with my family and family friends. We were a total of 8 people. We travelled during the night and took the Fairy from Gedser-Rostock at 23:45. We had been to a birthday celebration, celebrating a 70 year old the entire day – so it was quite a long day and travel. Anyways we arrived in Hungary at 16:30 on Sunday the 9th. We then checked-in in our mobilhome on the Campsite BalatonFüred, went out to dinner, had a shower and then went to bed.

The weather we have been so lucky with – in average we have had 37 degrees celsius. This means that I am in no way shape or form were able to sleep in – normally I woke up at 7:30 every day, which really is not to bad because you get the day going. The only thing is I did not go to sleep before 4 in the morning (usually) because we (my brother and I) were out drinking cocktails and hanging out with a bunch of lovely people we met. We hung out everyday with them – so nice!

We had 3 days of sightseeing in total and the rest of the vacation was relaxing time by the pool or the sea. When it was time to go home we stopped in Prague for a 2 night stay-over in the loveliest hotel – EVER! So luxury and can definitly be recommended to everyone. It was a wellness hotel that also provided a lot of bars (with free welcome drinks), restaurants and a bunch of sports – such as badminton, tennis, golf etc. The hotel also provided bowling lanes, pool, spa, conference rooms and sooo much more.

The service at the hotel was soo good aswell! Definitly recommend this place! It is called the Wellness Hotel Step – in Prague. Check it out if you concider going to Prague.

Please ask any questions about my vacation that you would like to know the answer too – because we did so many funny things – I do not even know where to begin or what to tell you guys!

All about this years handball

Let’s talk handball – again! I simply love handball and at the moment it is my biggest passion. We are in the beginning of off-season and I have never been more exited to begin a new season. As to why this is I’m not sure. It might be because of how the season ended. I had some ups and downs in relations to who I wanted to win the different leagues. Generally speaking I am more than satisfied with how everything ended – apart from Champions League.

The leagues I keep up with and love to follow are:

Champions League, The German League, The French League and the Danish League. Lets break down my thoughts on the different leagues! I will start of with the craziest league of them all:

Champions League. The biggest of all the leagues of handball and the most prestigious. It definitely ended in a different way in relations to what I wanted, but that’s okay – it is the name of the game.

Last 16: The first game to be settled was Paris St. Germain vs. HBC Nantes. Here we saw PSG move on to the next phase – which I was very pleased about. I think that Nantes is such an amazing team but in this case I am and was team PSG.

Second game to be settled was Montpellier HB vs. KS Vive Tauron Kielce. Montpellier fought to move on to the next phase. Again very pleased by this.

Third game to be settled was between Telekom Veszprém and HC Prvo plinarsko. Veszprém was the winning team. I didn’t really have the biggest opinions about these two teams so I decided (in my head) that the best team would win.

Next we had the game between Bjerringbro Silkeborg and MOL-Pick Szeged. The games between these two team were won by Pick Szeged – which I was really upset about. Don’t get me wrong the winning team is definitely a good team – but when a danish team reaches this far in a Champions League tournament I am the number one supporter. However BSV made such a huge impact on the tournament this year and maybe one day the team will reach further along in the tournament.

Second to last we had the game between HC Meshkov Brest and SG Flensburg Handewitt. These games were won by SG Flensburg Handewitt. Really exiting! I again support a lot of danes this way. SG Flensburg Handewitt consists of a lot of danes and a couple from “overseas” and I really like the team and their way of playing. It was well deserved of them to win the game!

Lastly in the last 16 round we had the game between THW Kiel and Rhein Neckar Löwen. The games ended 50:49 in favor of Kiel. I had the hardest time with the games between these two teams. Two of my favorite teams from Germany were up against each other and I simply couldn’t choose! I had to just watch and accept that one of my favorite teams from Germany would loose and not participate any further in the tournament, and that the best of the two would continue their journey in the league.

If you want to check out the website for Champions league and see how it all went down, feel free to use this link: http://www.ehfcl.com/men/2016-17/rounds/4/Last+16

Quarter Finals!

Paired up we had FC Barcelona against THW Kiel! Again another hard game because of the two amazing teams. Barcelona won 46:49 so it was very close – as expected. I again couldn’t choose my favorite.

Secondly we had SG Flensburg Handewitt and HC Vadar. This game ended 51:61 in favor of HC Vadar. This was so sad to me! I really felt that Flensburg had a better team but it just didn’t work out this time.

Then we had PSG paired up with MOL-Pick Szeged. PSG won 57:60 and I was happy! Nothing to complain about here! So exiting! My favorite team of them all (hard to choose thought) was now for the second time in the Final Four!

Lastly we had Montpellier and Telekom Veszprém. This ended in Veszprém succeeding and leading them to Final Four! This was a bummer – but hey! It is handball and it is very unpredictable.

Final Four!!!

In the semi final we had Telekom Veszprém vs. PSG – this was a victory from PSG reaching the final. PSG has only been to final four twice. First time in 15/16 where they won the bronze medal. So for their second time reaching Final Four they reached the final this time. This was exiting! I was so so so happy! What a crazy two games they had! PSG winning with only one more goal than the opponent!

In the second semi final we had FC Barcelona vs. HC Vadar. Which to my dissapointment was won by HC Vadar. However they really showed why they deserved to win the game – a ton of respect for this team. I really would have prefered a final between PSG and Barcelona, but you can’t always get what you want.

The bronze game!

FC Barcelona vs. Telekom Veszprém. Won by Telekom Veszprém. The game ended 34:30 and Barcelona wasn’t at its best. Oh well! Devastating but Telekom Veszprém really showed why they deserved the medal!

The final!

The most devastating match of them all. Ending with the goals 23:24 in favor of HC Vadar. The team scored their last and the decisive goal in the last 3 seconds (or so) and I was heartbroken! The team deserved to win because they were simply better. But seriously there is no doubt in my mind that PSG deserved to win! I really rooted for them. Such an amazing team with talented players and I really thought that they were going to take it home – but they didn’t. Still heartbroken by this (and it has been almost about a month).

But still congratulations to HC Vadar! You really beat the best!

If you want a break down of the other leagues that I personally love watching then let me know! Leave a comment, a like, a follow or whatever you want. What did you think of champions league this year?

XOXO – Tasia 😉

I loved learning french because it sounds so sophisticated and I love Paris and plan to travel here several times so it is quite usefull.

The camera I would love to own!

I am really into cameras and I love trying out new ones! The one I am currently testing out is a Samsung camera that was kindly gifted to me by my family.

But I really want to try out the Canon EOS 70d! I have read rewievs about it and it sounds like such an amazing quality! However I read a post on the internet about a leak of the new Canon EOS 200d (SL2). The announcement is supposedly coming June 29, 2017 so I might wait and find out some qualities about this camera before making a purchase.

Do you love cameras as much as I do? Which cameras are your all-time favorite and which camera are you currently testing out?! Let me know!

Handball season 16/17 done!

The handball season of 16/17 is done! It has been an amazing season of handball! I highly enjoyed this season (even though it didn’t go to plan according to me). It ended almost a week ago and I am kind of sad about it ending because what do I do now? I have an entire summer without handball 😦 However I know they need their summer vacation so it is okay. The players get to recharge for the new season! I have a feeling that season 17/18 is going to be epic! I think that there has been so many good transfers for the top teams and I am exited to see what the younger handball players are going to accomplish on the big scenes and on the teams with the experienced players.

When the season begins I think I want to make a break-down of matches! What do you think?

Products I would like to try!

I am really in to skincare and makeup that gives a healthy glow!

The products I have been researching alot lately has been these to brands.

For skincare I have been reading about SkynIceland. And I would really love to try all of their products. The reason as to why I really want to try it is because of the motto:

“At skyn ICELAND we offer skincare solutions to treat the damage caused by stress. Our inspiration comes from nature, in the pure unspoiled natural resources of Iceland – With its mineral rich waters, antioxidant powered berries, soothing algaes and mosses and immune boosting angelica archangelica. With these potent naturals, we created products that soothe, stabilize, fortify and nourish skin, bringing it back into balance and returning it to a glowing, youthful state.”

Does that not sound divine? Check out their website and Instagram right here:

For makeup I have been into Hourglass! I bought a palette from this brand! And I love the way that it makes your skin look glowing from within. It is not glittery or heavy – which I really enjoy. It is just the right amount of glow and is absolutely amazing. I am using the palette every single day and I really want to try other products from them. The palette I bought for myself is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette. It was expensive but has been worth it – FOR SURE!

I really want to try all of their products but the one thing I am dying to try is their foundation sticks. I really want to get alot of different shades so I can bronze, highlight and maybe even contour with the cream foundations to get a more natural look! So this might be my next purchase. I do want to read and look up alot more rewievs about the product to make sure it is worth the money.
